Warranty

The manufacturer's warranty can be European, Italian or International. Apple has its own warranty.


EUROPEAN WARRANTY

Purchasing a product with a European warranty provides that:

-  the product is original and covered by a two-year warranty, as stated in the Consumer Code

-  manuals and documentation are multilinguaI; if an Italian documentation is not available, we will send you a manual in electronic version by e-mail

-  support will be granted as for a product with Italian warranty

-  only for a few manufacturers (excluded: Sony, Panasonic, Samsung, LG, Nokia for which there is no difference between European and Italian warranty) support is granted in special centers indicated on the manufacturer's website. It depends on the damage where the product will be sent for reparation.

 

ITALIAN WARRANTY

Purchasing a product with an Italian warranty priovides that:

- the product is original and covered by a two-year warranty as stated in the Consumer Code

- manuals and documentation are in Italian

- support will be granted directly at manufacturer's service centers in Italy or at our office

 

INTERNATIONAL WARRANTY

Purchasing a product with an international warranty provides that:

- the product is original and covered by a two-year warranty as stated in the Consumer Code

- generally these are imported products, which means that the sale is permitted by the manufacturer in only a few countries

- manuals and documentation are multilingual, if Italian documentation is not available, we will send you a manual in electronic version by e-mail

- in case of damage, the product will be sent to our offices where it will be repaired or it will be sent to a  service center in the country of the seller, with longer waiting time

 

APPLE GUARANTEE (ITALIAN AND EUROPEAN)

Purchasing a product with Apple warranty provides that:


The legal warranty on all products is two years as provided for by the European regulations. In the first year the warranty is granted by Apple, in the second year by the seller. This means that if one buys a product at an Apple Store, at an Apple store online or at an APR (Apple Premium Reseller), Apple becomes automatically not only manufacturer but also seller. For this reason you will have the right to ask for a legal two-year warranty directly at the company (both in the first as in the second year).

The annual Apple warranty (the one which is valid for all in the first year) concerns the damage which is found after the delivery and it provides supplementary services which are no longer valid in the second year, also when Apple becomes "seller". The warranty consists in customer service via telephone (the first 90 days for free), support at an Apple Store or other authorized service centers, carry-in or mail-in support and coverage abroad.

The right entitled to the second year of warranty is entitled exclusively to private entities; if the purchase was done with a VAT number it is only 12 months.

The legal two-year warranty covers the damage present at the moment of delivery, the so-called factory damage.

However if one purchases an Apple product at a seller, Apple remains only a manufacturer and not a seller. In this case in the first year you may address to the seller near whatever selling point. If the seller works in franchising it is necessary to address to the location where the product was bought.
